« Guess whose coming to dinner. | Main | Job Opportunity »

Damn! I posted a comment to your site yesterday about Australia and the weather and all that. It doesn't seem to have come through and I just can't be bothered to try to remember what I said. But hey, the thought was there. :)

No it's Saturadya night here, and hyes I'm slurring. (She says laughing.) By my colock, it's 12:25 and I want to edit, but editing is overrated.

I had a bit of iwne tonight and can hardly type, but yes Opera has merit, even if you start daydreaming in the middle of Act I.

I was very recently asked on a blog happyandblue.blogspot.com) if I did things just to make my friends happy. I think I know you well enough to answer the question in your case and perphaps I have been cornering the wine a bit too much, but I believe that this has value, if not for your wife's gay cousin than for your wife herself. This my friend, spells class and is the essence of friendship and is exactly what I like about you.

Need I say more?

Of course, I can say lots more, because I've had a shitload of wine. I've written a bunch and edited and deleted and so on but suffice it to say, you are a good husband and friend. And I'm not going to say more.

Altough I have had a lot of wine and a great bit of discussion about Socrates, Plato and Aristotle, but shall we save those for another time?

Yes, yes, I think so.

Johnny the Horse

BF - Don't you hate it when that happens? And you can never remember the witty remark when you try to do it again.

WB - I laughed at the first read of your comment, tears running down my face, remembering so many conversations after a good sousing. But I think I can see the underlying message, and I thank you. Philosophy can certainly wait.

P.S. The last post about who to have dinner with (re your email), had no numerical preferance either. I had 10 or 15 windows open and listed the people who came up after closing the previous window. I would hope that no one assumed it was a preference vote.

It's 7:52 am now.

My head hurts. Glad I gave you a laugh.

I'm one of those people that when I go to parties or functions or whatever, I end up playing with the kids over talking bullcrap with the adults.

Heh, nice summary of the Opera.

This comments section has given me the giggles several times today.
