Finding the "to do in 2005" list at the back of my diary I scan down the page and with a big red pen put a tick next to "culture". I also make a note that Tosca is not a chocolate bar, and Puccini is not pasta.
A meme is born, and I'm jumping on J-Walk's bandwagon for the ride. The rules of the meme are as follows:
goal of this exercise is to identify nine other bloggers that you would like to
meet for dinner/drinks. The only caveat is that these bloggers must be strangers
-- you haven't met them before. State the blogger's name, a link to the blog,
and why you would like him/her to be in attendance".
There are many bloggers who would be very interesting to meet, so picking only nine may be difficult. If you don't make the list, rest assured it's because I don't like you nothing personal.
I always suspected that Mr Potato head was evil. Now he has been taken by the dark side of the force and Mrs potato head isn't talking to him. Mark my words, it'll all end in tears. Just you wait and see.
I don't blog politics. Not because I'm above it, or because I'm private about my voting trends; but because by comparison to many blogs which blog politics from poignant, funny or serious perspectives, I would just suck at it.
Yet another Australia day passes me by, and not one nomination for Australian of the Year. I will avoid the political and social statements of what Australia day
represents to various groups, wish her a Happy birthday and get on with
talking my own special brand of generally inoffensive crap.
When people state catagorically that they never intend to marry or have kids you don't generally have to wait too long for the invitation and RSVP with "I told you so". My little sister, Tabatha, was one of those people, but I honestly thought she meant it. Gladly for Michael I was wrong. Now I get a full time driving range partner. I mean, now they can live happily ever after.
The blue painted seats of this little runabout and the clearness of the
water drew me to take this shot. The water was cold as the tide came
in, and crystal clear. It warmed up during the day and turned a
turquiose colour. Swimming in it was beautiful.
Following in the footsteps of Sarcasmo I provide for your enjoyment ridicule the ten randomly shuffled songs from my iPod. I was terrified a Spice Girls song might make it into the list, but it didn't so my secret is safe.
